Objective:

ExxonMobil was forced to suspend production at Santa Ynez Unit [SYU] following the June 2015 incident with the Plains All American Pipeline. The facility was subsequently placed in a safe, preserved state. This site was created to educate the public to show the impact the unit had on the local community through economic impact and taxes even when not operational.
